Why Paradiso Is Unique
The theme of the 2013 Rose Parade was “Oh, The Places You’ll Go!” For Paradiso’s inaugural year it couldn’t have been more fitting. We are so proud of our first entry for the city of San Gabriel, winner of the 2013 Directors’ Trophy, recognizing artistic merit in design and floral presentation. We look forward to many more magnificent floats.
When we describe our company as a “boutique float builder”, some people ask what we mean. Merriam-Webster defines “boutique” this way: “A small company that offers highly specialized products or services.” Here at Paradiso, the word “boutique” also calls to mind that age-old adage: “God is in the details.”
As KTLA’s Gayle Anderson noted, “[Charles Meier] certainly has a very distinct style and, to me, that style is all about DETAIL.” Whether creating intricate woven baskets, life-like animals or realistically aged architecture, Paradiso pulls out all the stops to make sure every square inch of a float looks spectacular. This care and craftsmanship earned San Gabriel the 2013 Director’s Trophy recognizing “exceptional artistic merit in design and floral presentation.”
Our focus on detail also permeates our relationships with clients. In the words of San Gabriel City Manager, Steve Preston, “Paradiso has been a phenomenal firm … every detail thought through carefully … and we’ve never had so much fun!” Paradiso offers clients unparalleled personal attention, meeting each need as it arises and enabling sponsors to enjoy their Rose Parade® experience to the fullest.
So what makes Paradiso a “boutique float builder”? We concentrate our attention on select clientele, offering them the highest quality design, impeccable craftsmanship and a uniquely personalized customer service experience. Just wait and see what Paradiso has in store for 2014!
